I Can Only Imagine...

I can only imagine what it will be like when I walk by your side
I can only imagine what my eyes will see when your face is looking at me.
Surround by Your glory what will my heart fell?
Will I dance for you Jesus? Or in awe of you be still?
Imagine, I can only imagine
I can only imagine all creation bowed down
The whole universe saying Your name out loud
I can only imagine all out broken lives
Resurrected in the healing light
Surrounded by your glory what will my heart feel?
Will I dance for you Jesus? Or in awe of you be still?
Will I stand in your presence? Or to my knees will I fall?
Will I sing Hallelujah? Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine
Surrounded by your glory what will my heart feel?
Will I stand in Your presence? Or to my knees will I fall?
Will I sing Hallelujah? Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
Surrounded by forgiveness what will my heart feel?
Will I stand in your presence/ Or to my knees will I fall?
Will I sing hallelujah? Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine, oh I can only imagine
i can only, I can only, I can only imagine
~Amy Grant~

Heather sang Amy Grant's version of I Can Only Imagine at AWANA Scholarship Camp in June of 2003. She loved everything that Amy did. She especially loved the Legacy Hymns CD that was sold several years ago. In October, 2004, Heather stood before a crowded church as sang the same exact song at her beloved Grandma Coombe's funeral. She asked if she could and she was amazing as she stood tall and sang so beautifully. Never waived a note for the grandma she loved so much. For the video presentation of Heather's life the same song was used.Notice the facial expressions as she closes her eyes...Heather believed every word she is singing. Listen to the words..do you wonder what you will do when you stand face to face with Jesus?

Forgive the video and its sometimes shaky movements. I was filming on a bench that 5th grade boys like to bounce on.

  1. I can only imagine what it will be like to sing that song with her some day when I arrive at the feet of my King.
