I am proud to announce that today, September 5, 2013, My
Porcelain Doll was officially released at Amazon.com. it will soon be
at Barnes and Noble.com as well.
This is a project that Heather and I dreamed and talked about when she was first diagnosed. It is my wildest dream come true. This book also includes 85 black and white photos to tell her story. As well as Heather's own words to describe her journey.
I have begun working on my second book entitled Confessions of a Grieving Mother and hope to have a Spring 2014 release date for that book as well.

My Porcelain Doll is Sherry Coombe's, poignant tribute to
her late daughter and a moving memoir about walking side by side through
Heather's struggles and triumphs during cancer. Sherry traces the
journey she and Heather shared through some of the toughest challenges
and sweetest moments of fighting cancer. Genuine, intimate and
unconditional love, My Porcelain Doll is a story of hope, joy and
sadness only a mother could write.
"Then came a bunch of words like aggressive, really bad, tumor, spinal taps and on and on. Of course it still didn't sink in how bad he thought I was until he started talking about transplant team and City Of Hope. I knew then I was a really sick lil gal. I think that was the first time I was truly scared it might be too late." ~Heather Coombe
